Lindsey Ricciard, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in eating and weight-related disorders. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from the Univerity of Nevada, Las Vegas and completed an internship and fellowship at the University of Chicago Hospitals, Department of Psychiatry Eating and Weight Disorders program. Dr. Ricciardi offers individual and group psychotherapy for individuals with eating and/or weight-related disorders. Dr. Ricciardi has been trained in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and FBT (Family Based Therapy for Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia Nervosa), and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and she facilitates two weekly DBT Skills Groups for women with eating disorders an 8-week mindfulness based Healthy Living Skills Group for men and women with weight-related disorders (metabolic syndrome, osteoarthritis, emotional overeating, compulsive eating, body/weight-related anxiety and depression). Dr. Ricciardi is also experienced and published in the field of bariatric surgery, particularly in the psychosocial aspects of obesity surgery (preoperative consulation, preparedness, post-operative support). Dr. Ricciardi is committed to helping individuals to achieve greater balance, learn self-compassion and develop healthy coping skills, build relationships, live life according to values, and live a life worthing. Dr. Ricciardi is the President-Elect of the Nevada Psychological Association. She is an active member of the Academy of Eating Disoders, the Nevada Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association. She is committed to training and supervises postdoctoral fellows, Psychological Assistants and clinical psychology UNLV doctoral practicum students.

Carrie Sheets, Ph.D. comes to us from University of Pittsburgh where she recieved her doctorate in the Joint Clinical and Biological and Heath Ph.D program. Dr. Sheets' conducted her dissertation on child eating in absence of hunger and loss of control. She completed her medical psychology internship at the Duke University Department of Psychiatry with an obesity specialization. Dr. Sheets trained at the the Duke Diet and Fitness Center, the Duke Pain and Palliative Care Center and Duke Center for Metabolic and Weight Loss Surgery. Dr. Sheets is highly specialized in the psychological aspects of pain, obesity, and eating disorders. She has been trained in CBT, DBT, and biofeedback. She conducts individual therapy on a sliding scale, facilitates groups, and teaches class. Dr. Sheets serves on the Southern Board of the Nevada Psychogical Association
